This volume is more focused on actually approaching the relationship between Cecilia and Lucas--beyond the superficial and yandere. There are actual conversations in between the adult fun time, and there is plenty of story to chew on (relatively speaking). It also proves that Lucas, while still a yandere, is not at the extreme his introduction would have you think. Not to say he isn't at an extreme, just, not the one you thought he was at. We also get to see Cecilia start to find her footing emotionally and learn more about her relationship with her former fiance. Overall a solid edition to the series.… (meer)
This is clearly trying to fit in a very specific niche. That niche is "I like my men a little bit of rough with a nice heaping of overprotective/yandere." And if that niche is your cup of tea, this is a good book. It plays some fun with villainess tropes but it is mostly concerned with yandere aspects. And the smut. Personally not a fan of the censorship of some of the sex scenes, but given some of Japan's laws on the matter, I wouldn't be surprised if there is no non-censored edition.
