Absolutely stunning! When I purchased this book for our children's Maori collection I was unsure what we were getting but once it arrived I discovered a true treasure. Beautifully produced, there is just nothing out there like it, so I bought extra copies for the libraries within our group.

Included are 15 projects for children in the fields of sculpture, photography, design, paint, mixed media, collage etc. Each project includes a blurb about a relevant taonga (treasure) with its purpose and use in the past and present, along with an artist who has produced work in the relevant art form. The simplified activities for children have clear and easy to follow instructions and accompanying photographs.
