Dorothy Hinshaw Patent holds a Ph.D. in zoology from the University of California at Berkeley. She is the author of more than one hundred books for children and young adults, on subjects ranging from biodiversity to the bald eagle. She has two adult sons and lives with her husband in Montana, where toon meer the state flower is named after Meriwether Lewis William Munoz earned a B.A. in history from the University of Montana. A fantastic addition to my nephew's collection about animals and the environment. The photographs are large enough to share with a group in front of a classroom and the information extends well beyond the beaver.
