Richard Pepin

This is a pretty nice little journal, very attractive, and has some fun work in it. There's an emphasis on playful language and creative imagery, but not put above the meaning of the poems, and some of the poems here are worth quite a few reads. There is a heavy emphasis on poetry as opposed to fiction, and the poetry is fairly short. On the downside, in the issue I have, there are just a few works which I just can't understand being published, but perhaps you get that with most journals. If you're interested in literary journals dealing with poetry, I'd say this one's worth a look.… (meer)
