The synopsis piqued my interest. I had a feeling it wasn’t going to be your typical book. I knew instantly that this was a book I should read.

Secrets always seem to be the downfall in most stories. In this case, the secrets aren’t necessarily that big, and definitely serve a purpose. Elizabeth started out as a housewife looking for herself. Then she finds that she has a hellcat that has lived inside her… but she carries the guilt of the feelings that can be hurt if everyone involved finds out the things she has not told them.
This story is a coming of age tale of a woman learning that you are never to old to find yourself. Sometimes in life, you just have to take the big chances to understand and appreciate everything around you. There is tenderness, love, and heartbreak throughout this book. I had a very difficult time putting it down. I was disappointed when it ended… I am curious to see if the next book picks up where this one left of… I sure am hoping so.
