Kay Pfaltz

This is a book that I obtained from Edelweiss in exchange for a fair and honest review. I received it as an e-book for my kindle. It will be released on September 3, 2013 from Skyhorse Publishing. It was a short book of 256 pages. Kay Pfaltz writes tales of how dogs impact the lives of people.

This was a story about Flash the dog and his owner. It is his memoir. We meet Flash and get to know his personality. His story tells of the joys and heart breaks of pet ownership. I am a cat owner, but I can relate to Flash's story. I think that we can learn a lot from our animals. They teach us how to love, how to relax and sometimes how to love enough to let them go. I did not realize there were alternative therapies for pets. While dogs and cats may not think like humans, I think they do have feelings on some level. They seem to express basic emotions like jealousy and happiness. They play a big part in most of our lives. When they are gone we often still think of them with fond memories.

This book is a quick read. The story is easy to read and follow. I give this book 3 out of 5 stars.… (meer)
