The author uses each day of Holy Week to reflect on a different theme of peacemaking. This book provided interesting insights into the Gospel accounts of Holy Week and how it should influence one’s thoughts about peacemaking. This book would be a great read for lent either individually or with a group. The chapters are short enough where a person can read one chapter a week for a study. The book includes discussion questions for each chapter and suggestions for a Lenten reading plan. A bibliography would have been good in case somebody wanted to go deeper.… (meer)

Deze bespreking is geschreven voor LibraryThing Vroege Recensenten.While I won't say that I agree with the base premises of the book, it's one of the most enjoyable things about reading theological book - you will be challenged and made to think about your own views. It's not mine, but it is a very well articulated point of view, for which I commend the author. It seems like it's written with a particular target group in mind, and I very much feel it will meet those needs.
