Diary of a Psychic by Laura Powers is an interesting read. Laura tells of what a psychic is and how she realized that she had gifts. She then explains occurrences that she has experienced as well as some that others have told her about. Diary of a Psychic, for me however, lacks a voice and at parts feels like facts are being given that can be helpful yet some lack more descriptions as to how to fully understand what she is talking about. This however is matched with personal experiences and stories that Laura has gone through which are enjoyable, yet at parts seem to be cut off. One of the most touching parts of the book is where she writes a message from Marilyn Monroe whom she had channeled at the time; this message resonated so much for me. Overall, Diary of a Psychic helps the reader to recognize what is inside themselves as well as in themselves.… (meer)

Angels and Manifesting is a book that produces a step to step guide on how to manifest life into what one wants. Using several quotes and stories from celebrities as well as how simply changing ones point of thinking can lead to a different life, Laura makes this a self help book with worksheets and other material to make this come true including ways to clear what is blocking you. Most importantly Laura introduces the Angels with whom are there to guide into helping the reader. All together an easy read that can change how the reader looks at life as long as they are open to it.… (meer)

Supernatural Survival Guide, is a fun read that tell of supernatural creatures that exist in our world rather in our plane or another plane all together. This is a quick read that goes from helpful to dangerous creatures, how to recognize when they are around, and how to clear them if needed. Laura describes each creature in a way that it is easily pictured as to what she is describing, most of which can be found in media (which she references a good amount of). What makes this book is the fact that Laura adds her personal experiences with the creatures that she has encountered. Overall, a quick and entertaining read.… (meer)
