A beautiful book with good directions, beautiful pictures and a really great "Knitting Knowhow" section at the back which gives excellent directions (written and pictorial) for all the skills you will need for these patterns, discusses different yarns that you might encounter out in the big bad world, has a tensions chart, has great conversion charts and na very useful list of typical abbreviations. I've made a few of these items and they work out really well.
