It goes without saying that today we’re in a time where basically all of our lives are harried; which negatively affects our relationships with our jobs, our families, and for any Christian it affects their relationships with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Christians need to get as close to the Lord as they possibly can to offer Him their unending thanks and praise, for they can remember ISAIAH 64:8 [ESV]

“… O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.”

But what stands in the way is our harried lives creating the largest barriers for any Christian desiring to increase their devoutness to the Lord expanding their affiliation with Him, in other words their love for Him; for they know and are mindful of DEUTERONOMY 7:9 [ESV]:

“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations.”

Given this, how does a Christian, whether they be a woman or man, whether they be new to the faith or a longtime believer in the Lord’s largess obtain the nirvana they’re searching for with Him. In order to reach this desire, Christian need to find the appropriate guidance from a knowledgeable person regarding this matter. I believe, the author of this book, Melanie Redd, is that sort of individual; for she’s not only a devout follower of the Lord, also the Director of Women’s Ministry at the Faith Baptist Church in Tennessee. In writing this book she desires to take her readers gently down a path which will ultimately lead them into His loving arms and be blessed in their closer relationship with Him.

For wanting to see her readers have the best relationship they can possibly get, as a reviewer of Christian books, it gratifies me to give Ms. Redd the 5 STARS she’s gotten from me.… (meer)

It goes without saying that mothers play a crucial role in seeing their daughters develop into womanhood and into the women, they’re meant to be; especially when it comes to understanding their bodies and men. However, even with this knowledge their daughters can’t become a totally fulfilled woman in the eyes of the Lord.

Since each teen girl is a unique entity unto herself as well as in the eyes of the Lord, the road to complete womanhood entails having a sense of Christian spirituality, a road which is different for each one teen due to their individuality. To attain their level of spirituality, each Christian teen girl needs to embark on a journey of self-discovery where the wisdom and comfort of the Bible will be able to fill their hearts, minds and souls.

By reading the devotions in this book, teen Christian girls will be able to navigate the secular world which is fraught being trying to have a flawless persona on the social media, dealing with false friends [frenemies], and actual dating.

Let us not forget the words of the Lord, JOHN 8:12 [ESV] where he states:

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Teen Christian girls, as you can see have a lot going on with their lives, so much so they feel that they’re living in total darkness, and need to find a light to guide themselves into the world of reality and enlightenment; a light which I feel they’ll be able to find within the pages of this book by Melanie Redd.

Through the pages of this book, teen readers will be able to obtain biblical lesson along with appropriate anecdotes they can apply to their own lives; obtain a crosswalk from a myriad of things in the secular world to the realm of the Lord’s word, a world where one’s faith will provide for a light of resolute guidance. And all it’s going to take is a mere 5 minutes a day.

And while this book has been intended for Christian teen girls, I feel Christian women can also benefit from reading it, since it can renew/enhance their faith as the Christian women they are. Given this, I find it difficult not to give the author, Melanie Redd, the 5 STARS she’s garnered from this reviewer of Christian books.… (meer)
