Every book I have read so far by Lyonne has been an instant hit with me. The books are fast reads, but this is mainly due to the factor that Lyonne writes her characters with such passion and emotions as if they were characters you have known for a very long time. The author can write any combo...human, orc, troll, minotaur, merman/mermaid, gargoyle, etc. You get the idea, and I would instantly fall in love with them all.

All I could picture is Data from Star Trek when it came to D. As a Trekkie, this is not a bad thing. So, it was easy to engage in this story and see it play out like a mini move in my head. I like the relationship that Lela and D formed together.

Yes, Lela may have come off a bit obsessed at first about D. Yet, what they shared was more than a crush. It was the real deal. The intimate scenes between these two did not come off as awkward. Besides whom would not want a guy...human or android who knows how to satisfy a woman's needs.

This is the second book I have read from this author. I absolutely loved this book. Drazak and Han’zir instantly won my heart. Maybe Han'zir a little more in the beginning. He was not grumpy like Drazak. Yet, Drazak did come around and he fell in love with Esme as much as Han'zir.

Despite not understanding each other's language, Esme, Drazak, and Han'zir still were able to communicate with each other. I love that the love story between all of them was a slow blossoming one. Although, I loved the intimate scenes involving them all. They were hot but also filled with sweet emotions.

If you love your monster romances, then you need to pick up a copy of this book!… (meer)

Lyonne Riley is a new to me author. After reading this book, I definitely want to read more books by this author. I loved this book. The characters re very engaging and I felt like I was transported to New Eden.

Theo is so polite. A true gentle minotaur. I love that he was so about making sure Celeste was comfortable with everything. I really felt the love he had for Celeste. She was full of self-doubt having not been on a date for quite some time. So, she was unsure of his compliments at first but when she found herself confidence and saw herself through Theo's eyes, it was wonderful. Theo and his big hoofs! He is very giving in the bedroom. Ooh the spice is strong in this book.… (meer)
