First in a series of mysteries about a veterinarian, Andi Pauling. Set in the world of competitieve polo, which Andi gets into because of a friend. That's part of the reason I wasn't a great fan of the book, polo isn't very interesting to me. I also did not find the characters very sympathetic. The plot, however, got better as the book went on and it became a good read.
