Worship That Works: Theory and Practice for… door Wayne B. Arnason

Although I wouldn't have read this book if it weren't an assignment for the Worship Associates program at my UU church, I'm glad now that I've read it. The authors visited a number of worship services across the country and compiled data and their impressions, as well as useful tips. The book was well organized, and includes a list of additional resources in the back.

About the editor: quoting from the book's back cover, "Kathleen Rolenz serves as co-minister of the West Shore Unitarian Universalist Church in Rocky River, Ohio, and is a certified spirtual director. She enjoys reading the early church histories and murder mysteries, as well as listening to gospel music from the early twentieth century. She is co-author, with Wayne Arnason, of "Worship That Works: Theory and Practice for Unitarian Universalists."
