I recently met Nicki Salcedo and after listening to her describe her book as a Beauty and the Beast story in reverse I thought I'd give it a try. It was so much more than that. It is a story of finding peace after having your life almost destroyed - whether as the victim of a crime or as the person accused of committing it.
Not all scars are visible and not all healing brings peace. Even after physically healing from her attack, the mental and emotional wounds remained. Can forgiving the man who went to prison for her attack bring her peace? Can she accept the fact that he may be innocent after all? Will her life ever be normal again? And, can she find love with the man whose is trying to prove his brother innocent.
If you read this book you will find the answers to all these questions in a well-written story with amazingly strong characters.… (meer)

I enjoyed the glimpses that we got of all the characters ... just some stories I wish were fleshed out a little more than others. Overall, I definitely recommend this anthology to any romance reader, especially for those who want to get into the "St. Patrick's Day spirit." "
