Hellferata - Medusa's bodyless soul still lives
Dracu Mort - Hellferatu's son to a goat.
The Lorns - people who live in a tree because "monsters" roam the ground on foggy nights
Michele - "The girl with the golden hair' - prophecy says she will destroy Hellferatu
Melissa, Nathan, and Perry - Michele's sister and friends. They were all transported to another universe.

Concept is interesting and all the elements are there for a good story (if you like mythology and alternate universe stories like I do). But something is missing for me. It drags a little and needs more excitement. Hopefully book 2 in the series steps it up and grabs my attention more.
This is a good read for preteens.

This man has an imagination and can write! It seemed the paranormal team station kept getting more and more scientifically complicated. The level of specific expert sounding knowledge and skills was mind blowing. My favorite part was the bad guy roasting on a spit. Gross, but who thinks up stuff like this?! A writer now on my favorites list.

This was a good book and I agree with its basic premise.
However, I did disagree with a few minor (to the book at least) points.
The first was the absurd theory postulated that the Romans had Christ executed for depriving them of taxes by overturning the money tables.
The second was that the author argued that the true fascists would be the Falangists in Spain and not the Italians and Germans during WWII. I would argue that, at least in the Italian's case, that they should be called Fascists (since that's what they called themselves) and it should just be argued that Fascism is a form of socialism.
Lastly, I would like to dispute the arguments about how WWII might have turned out differently, such as the allegation that France couldn't have done anything to stop the Anschluss.
Overall though, I think that this is a good book and should be read.
I would like to point out that, contrary to a lot of reviews for this book, the author does cite sources! Admittedly some of the quotes from the likes of Bernie Sanders should have been cited (I have no doubt that he said them, though), but the fact remains that there are still references!
Also, I am almost 100% certain that the author bio was a joke, so please don't bring that up to attack the author's credibility!
I received this book from the LibraryThing Member Giveaway in exchange for an honest review.

Regardless of your political leanings, the one thing learned people on all sides of the ideological puzzle understand, and agree upon, is that you should know your facts.

It is true that some facts come from dubious sources and said sources can become an area of contention.

This is where Hitler was a Socialist fails. I won't argue the information provided, only to warn you that NONE of it is attributed. There are no sources listed. Add to that a less than credible author biography, and this book is not worth your time.

Even if you agree with the author, his knowledge of history and the written argument are seriously lacking.

There is no ZERO star rating, so ...

⭐️ NNR says ZERO stars: Avoid this mess and seek something more credible.
