A very interesting look at the ideal of Womanhood at the turn of the century. A feminist would probably burst a blood vessel! I enjoyed reading it as a picture in time, and some of the advice is perfectly sound. The book itself is handsome and beautifully done.

Chapter titles include "When the Young People Grow Up", "Mornings with the Bible", "With Level Eyes", "Young Women and Self-support" and others, 22 chapters in all. Quaint illustrations and poems throughout.
