161. Sabotage! The Secret War Against America, by Michael Sayers and Albert E. Kahn (read 10 Sep 1944) I started reading this book on Sept 4, 1944, and on Sept 5 I said: "Am reading in 'Sabotage.' Now I am getting to the part about the isolationists . To think how people, particularly Republicans, seem to have forgotten those times right before Pearl Harbor when Roosevelt was called a 'war-monger!' " On Sep 10 I said: "This morning I finished Sabotage!, a good book but not as good as 'Undercover.' Although it makes similar charges, it is not nearly as sensational."
