Princess from Another Planet was one of my childhood addictions back in the day. I picked it back up for fun (and because I found it hiding in my childhood closet) and figured I might as well leave a little review since I loved it so much!

Gracie's mom tries to convince her she's an alien princess, and turns out she is. Suddenly her life is flipped upside down and she must figure out how to survive at summer camp.

This book is fun, fast and very amusing. I totally loved every second of it even as an adult. It was quite the nostalgic read for me. It's a great middle grade read with lots of humour and fantasy packed in.

This book focuses on a child dealing with a broken home and the joining of a new family through remarriage. When her mother remarries, eight-year-old Tracy has to get used to a new school and a new obnoxious stepbrother.This book is an excellent book to have in your in-class library, because so many children now come from different kinds of homes. Children are having to learn how to deal with new family situations due to divorce and remarriage, and this would be a great book to give a child who is struggling with adjusting to this new life style. I enjoyed this book and I think it is a great transition book as well.… (meer)
