A young German woman spent a year alternating her life in Berlin with two week periods in various countries in Africa. She met local people and asked them to let her cook with them. In Berlin she tried to work out how to make the dishes with German ingredients and equipment. This is much more a book to read than to cook from. The final country is Sierra Leone and recipes for 4-6 people include 500 ml palm oil. It seems that this is not a misprint as several recipes are similar. (The book is in German.)… (meer)
