A fun Sherlockian book for kids. I could tell the author wasn't actually British, but it didn't seriously detract from the story. I did spend a significant amount of time distracted from the story trying to figure out the time period in which it's set, which I still haven't figured out.

This story is about the adventures of a a young Sherlock admirer as he attends Sherlock Academy. His main quest throughout this book is to find the missing Sherlock Holmes books. I would definitely recommend this book to teachers, because it actually gives good teaching advice hidden within the storyline! I would use this book as a mentor text for teaching students how to write narrative pieces.
