Makoto Shinkai

Not my normal read. Picked this up for a challenge and to get out of my reading comfort zone. It was a cute little read for what it is.

I honestly couldn’t see exactly where this was going, but since I expected something really emotional, the ending for me just kind of didn’t hit as hard as I thought it would? I do still really love this story and the art is absolutely beautiful. The idea in general and the mixing of timelines and bodyswapping made for an interesting storyline that I quite enjoyed. I’m glad I could finish off this series :>

(Spoilers btw)This book just took me through a rollercoaster of emotions. Going from wow, she died… to oh wow she died three years ago, and then to, wow, we’re changing history??? I don’t know what to expect but I do know I love these short reads.

I’ve actually never seen the anime before so this was all a surprise to me. I really liked this though, the concept is fun and the thing with the comet sounds interesting. It’s just good to read something lighthearted sometimes.
