An okay book for younger readers with good pictures, but a bit dry.

A very well written book about the holocaust. Goes into many aspects of what happened, how, and why. Interesting stories with pictures and good descriptions. One of the better comprehensive books for children that I have read about the Holocaust.

Some signs of poor editing/proofreading

I brought this little book for my grand baby at the MIA in Minneapolis...it is a good introduction to the Mayan Civilization for children of all ages...

I brought this little book from MIA in Minneapolis and it is a good introduction to West Afrikan history for young children...fairly comprehensive for the young yet not overbearing and the beautiful photography and illustrations will keep their interest.

My son and I read this together for history. It’s a very basic book, with some lovely photos, but on the whole I wasn’t particularly impressed. Some of her dates seemed off, and I just didn’t like the way she presented some of the information. It does give an overview of several areas of Egyptian life, but not very detailed.
