Marc Silber

I wanted to like this more; Silber's YouTube photography channel is well packaged and thought-provoking. But... while the book is well-structured, there's little material bringing new insight, and once the form is established (biog story + ideas + suggestions + interview), it struggles to remain strong.

(And from this reader, Silber loses at least one star by describing a case study interviewee as "model, TV personality, lifestyle guru" in "an extrordinary array of talents". Possibly that is the case in California - along with using the "guru" label three times in the introduction.)… (meer)
