Willard Simms

A one-man play that allows Einstein to speak for himself. At times whimsical, at times serious, Einstein discusses his life and work, without getting too bogged down in physics (there is one point where he gives a detailed physics equation, but the action is somewhat self-mocking; the audience isn't expected to understand). Einstein discusses his life and his wives, his children, a fondness for ice cream, the theory of Relativity, and, of course, the bomb. He discusses the difficulty of being famous and being expected to perform. A decent introduction to Einsten the man, somewhat superficial, but suited for a stage play.… (meer)
