This story is great for visualizing. Everyone knows of the coziest place to be and they can picture it in their minds because there is emotions attached. The children will describe their coziest place, because throughout the story it will be growing in their minds. I would use this in 1st grade.

Best friends argue over the most cozy place and one girl makes her own cozy place but notices its not as cozy as when her best friend was there.

A little girl and her best friend Roberta get in a disagreement over which of their favorite places is the coziest. When Roberta leaves angrily, the little girl tries to make a cozy place without her, but finds out nothing is as cozy as being with her best friend.
