This is a fun teen book about werewolves. This time Cody is in trouble with other weres as they are being trapped by a doctor. There is romance, friendship, and suspense. Teen problems with fur! There is also a new character Cody meets, a boy his age that can change into animals with Indian Magic. It is a fun teen read but has evil side too!
The narrator is great and makes it flow wonderfully. Great voices and makes the characters seem real! Great job!… (meer)

This is a great coming of age of a teen werewolf! It is fresh, and exciting! The young teen turns the first time while in a restaurant and has not idea what is going on. His family sends him away to his uncle that lives several states away and lives in the country. There are murders happening in this small town. Bullies to deal with. A new school, girls, and figuring out his new body. Exciting and fun read.
The narrator is just perfect for this book. He does the voices of girls, women, men, and all these emotions perfectly. The flow of the book runs well under his performance. Great job!… (meer)

Cody enjoys his life as the only son of two wealthy doctors, but when one Christmas eve on a vacation abroad he turns into a wolf, his life is shattered. His parents send him to his "black sheep" Uncle Bob's in Florida with no explanation and no time to process. Cody is understandably angry and confused, but when he spots a girl headed into a video shop, he decides the sweltering heat and his odd uncle might not be so bad.

But Cody quickly runs into trouble, and when the drama at school finally begins to die down, he's faced with a much more frightening threat - one that could get him, his uncle, and the cute video store girl killed.

I'm always pleased when I run into a book that grabs me by the throat and propels me at breakneck speed through the story. The characters, story, romance, and drama are intense, and I felt myself riding on the roller coaster with Cody. The writing is excellent, the pacing is excellent, and there's so much heart in this story. If you like werewolves (kind of reminiscent of [b:Twilight|41865|Twilight (Twilight, #1)|Stephenie Meyer|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1361039443s/41865.jpg|3212258]), then you'll love the Amazing Wolf Boy.… (meer)

I thought this book was adorable.

Emma and her friends got enveloped by fog, and the next morning they woke up with colored streaks in their hair--and magic. When Emma's big sister figures out what's going on, she freaks, because she's seen this happen before, and lost her twin sister as a result. Emma and her friends will travel to find out what really happened to the missing sister, as well as where the magic came from and why.

I read this book aloud to my toddler son, and he seemed to enjoy the bits of magic. I love that though it's a short story and intended for younger audiences, it doesn't skimp on plot. The authors have a way of creating endearing characters in very limited space.

I think this is a great series for young girls who love magic and adventures.
