Zsolt Stockinger is a Trauma surgeon stationed in Iraq from Febr 2005 to March 2006. In a diary he records the daily life at the base. It is not for the faint of heart, being a trauma surgeon he is quite detailed in his descriptions of the different casualties that arrived at the trauma center. It is a testament to the carnage and suffering of war. But there is also humor and relaxation, in between the casualties, where the author and his buddies go jogging or "sightseeing", trying to make the best of their time there.… (meer)
