Vera Strange

In book three of the Chills series Eleven-year-old Barrie doesn’t want to grow old and have to take on more responsibility. He wants to stay young forever. He gets his wish when he finds a hook in a creepy old pirate ship exhibit along with a note promising that whoever possesses it will never grow old. But Barrie soon realizes that staying a kid forever has some pretty dire consequences and maybe it is not such a great wish after all. I would recommend this for any collection owning others in the series. Fans of the R.L. Stine Goosebumps series will like this one as well.… (meer)
