Okay - still . . . the Lolita effect is weird. I can read past it due to the story's intriguing plot and characters - which are slowly building the world and the myth of the story.
I love the lore building around the vampires (many have tried vampire lore and failed) are almost Dracula but not completely - as a new lore sprung from this.
I cannot wait to find out what happens next in the story - what truth will be exposed or . . . an abrupt end; maybe?

4-stars for an intriguing story about a detective trying to find his wife's murderer - who is a Vampire. The artwork of this story is brilliant and takes you back to old-school horror, where vampires are feared (mostly).
The reason I deducted 1-star was for the sexualisation of a 200-year-old vampire in a child's body. (Fine, she is 200 years old) for me, it is still wrong, but the storyline was gripping, and Dantesan was funny.
I will give Vol 2 a trial and see if I will continue this series any further.… (meer)

The story delves deeper into the history of Vampires and why they cannot co-exist with humans. The art is still superb with great intrigue, but this nakedness of an ancient vampire girl's body who would love to kiss the 32-year-old mc is . . . starting to be off-putting.
This volume's pacing is quicker than in the previous novels, and I still love how we are moving towards the horrification of Vampires. It is still good enough to finish the series.… (meer)
