Many of the suggestions presented in this excellent book are actually simply common sense (like making exams, quizzes and tests legible, with sufficient white space and no surprises). With that in mind, I wish that grade school, high school and university/college instructors would read Nonverbal Learning Disabilities at School (and realise that while many students might be able to "handle" small fonts, cluttered spacing, unclear blackboard writing etc., students with NLD, Apserger's syndrome and the like, often cannot and should not be forced to either). A great font of hands-on information that should be required reading for teachers, professors, teaching assistants, basically anyone working in an educational setting.½

While I think that the details presented are informative, I wish there were also some information presented about (and for) individuals diagnosed with NLD as adults. I've recently been diagnosed with NLD (in my early forties), and it is frustrating to the extreme that there is so little reading material available specifically geared towards adults, or that at least has a few chapters devoted to adults. As someone who strongly and often exclusively relies on books for enlightenment, it would really be a godsend to be able to find some books that specifically give both practical and emotional advice for adults diagnosed with NLD.½
