Thomas Paul Tarshis

Tarshis, author of Living with Peer Pressure and Bullying, is the founder and director of the Bay Area Children’s Association where he works with children, teens and families. The author has published articles on peer pressure and bullying in medical journals and has written this text for teens about bullying and victimization. Chapters topics include peer pressure, managing difficult situations, the power of peer pressure, how to determine if a teen is being bullied, the risks and rewards of telling the truth, mental health problems, taking charge and taking care of yourself, cyberbullying, helping others cope with bullying, and finding and paying for medical care.
