There is some discussion of arctic measuring gadgets and science, some folk lore, and some general descriptions of Tedesco's travel there. It's ok, the writing is fine--just not riveting enough for me to read past page 62.
I would probably save this book for a quiet camping trip or something, but for now I'm just going to return it to the library.
