Kenneth Turan is the film critic for the Los Angeles Times and NPR's Morning Edition, as well as the director of the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. He has been a staff writer for the Washington Post and TV Guide, and served as the Los Angeles Times' book review editor. Turan teaches at the toon meer University of Southern California and is on the board of directors of the National Yiddish Book Center. Turan lives in Los Angeles, California.
