A look back to the early 20th century when schools included a "home report" grading children on books read, letters written, manners, things made, etc. Full of good parenting advice to help your school age children grow and learn.

While admittedly 'preaching to the choir' in this case (we don't smack, use time-outs and positive reinforcement etc.) this was still a useful read as it reminded me of things we could be doing, and suggested a few changes in attitude that would probably improve things in our household. This is a book I would definitely be happy to recommend to other parents, and probably will.
