A huge question in today's society - how much privacy do we give up to the government in exchange for their protection? Well written and argued, a must-read for anyone who has questions about the digital world and how it plays into government.
I think this book is essential reading for every American citizen. It details the start of government surveilance on its citizens as well as the landmark case of Laird vs Tatum, where citizens objected to this. It explains all the legalities and the methods government uses to surveil citizens. Something I did not know is that Google, Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox and Apple are under surveilance with the PRISM program.
