At the end of the first chapter, I nearly put this book down, I really didn't like the start but I wanted to give the book a fair read as I received a free copy in exchange for a review.

The rest of the book was good fun with a nice mix of conversation and description. The action kept up a good pace and kept me reading through to the (rather unusual) end.

Overall, a fun read and the first chapter made sense by about half way into the book. If you're into a combination of sci fi and egyptology, this will be the book for you!… (meer)
