Only the eighth book of this PG nine-volume future history slips slightly below five stars and it is well worth binge reading.

Born of Steel: It takes less than four hours to read this PG military sci-fi procedural involving an alien virus and the importance of teamwork for keeping the goal in sight.

Nerves of Steel: Allow a day for this PG sci-fi war tale of Private-nothing Dane Williams as he finishes basic training on the Assisted Mechanized Plate for the Mechanized Infantry Division of the Federal Marines Corps.

Steel Trap: Set aside a day for the PG third book of the Metal Warriors series which picks up less than a month after Book 2 with Lance Corporal Dane Williams in his Assisted Mechanized Plate with the Mechanized Infantry Division of the Federal Marine Corp clearing debris in Portland, Washington when he and the rest of the AMPs are ordered to the Nevada Facility.

Hard As Steel: Allow most of a day for this fourth PG installment of the life of Dane Williams who is now a full Corporal almost two years after the events in book 3 and is training Orbital Marines in the asteroid belt.

Precious Metal: Set aside most of a day for the continued PG adventures of Sergeant Dane Williams, along with Engineer Pilot Joey Corsoni and Sergeants Bruce Cheng and Hopskirk, almost ten months after the action in Book 4 as they go through Deployment Gate One.

Steel Cage: This PG sixth part of the adventures of Dane Williams of the Orbital Marines can be read in an uninterrupted afternoon. I URGE you to read the series in series order to avoid spoilers.

Ring of Steel: Set aside an afternoon for this seventh PG space adventure of Sergeant Dane Williams and his team as they head to Pluto to investigate.

Steel Curtain: This eighth episode in the Human-Exin War Chronicle begins with the finding of the Exin ansible nearest Earth and ends on a cliff-hanger. 4*

Fist of Steel: This final PG episode of the Human-Exin War can be read in a long morning.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
