This is a great little book. It is a history of all the air races run in the three important prize races during air racing's golden age: The Pulitzer races, the Schneider Cup, and the Thompson Trophy. Vonderman follows these races year by year, and does share some of the important problems and technological developments. It's well done and worth a look
