I received a copy of this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review.

What a wonderful way to end the trilogy!

This book, like the previous two, was fast paced and filled with romance, magic, and adventure. The story picks up where book 2 ended and from there becomes a real page turner. There was never a dull moment and grips you right from the start.

What I loved most about this book was the emphasis on love and loyalty. I love Tristan and Issylte’s relationship and how their love just kept getting stronger. I also liked how their friends and allies never hesitated to help them out. Lancelot, in particular, has been a standout character throughout all the books due to his friendship with Tristan.

As usual, the world building was amazing. It’s so vivid and enchanting! I absolutely loved this world and will miss reading about it.

The writing style was also impeccable. The author writes with such an ease. Often times fantasy books can be confusing, but not this series. The reader is guided through the story effortlessly.

Overall, this was a satisfying conclusion to an exciting trilogy. I highly recommend this book/series to fantasy lovers, especially those who like fantasy with a touch of fairy tales and/or medieval influence. You won’t be disappointed!

It might be cold outside, but this will heat you up while you’re reading. This might be a quick read, but Walker manages to pack quite a bit into it. You get to travel across the world, experience passion, art, and unforgettable characters. I loved the vivid descriptions, of both the setting and steamy moments between Ella and Jean-Luc. I absolutely loved Ella from the start, and it’s easy to see why she fell for Jean-Luc (seriously, he sounds like a work of art in his own right). If you’re looking for a quick and steamy read, you’ll want to grab this!… (meer)

A quick, captivating, and immersive read. Walker does an amazing job of drawing the reader in, and Lily, Ludo, and Auguste couldn’t be more different from each other. I loved the contrast between the three that make up the love triangle, both in and out of the play. All three characters are well-developed, and it’s easy to imagine them as real people. Walker brings the setting to life around the reader, the sights, the sounds, the smells - it’s like stepping through a portal to the other side of the world. If you’re looking for a fun, steamy, romance triangle novella, then you’ll want to grab this one!… (meer)

In the last book in the The Wild Rose and the Sea Raven trilogy, the Irish princess Issylte continues her journey in trying to defeat her evil stepmother, Queen Morag, and free the citizens of Ireland and Cornwall from Morag’s tyranny. Along the way, she encounters battle and bloodshed, kidnapping, magic, the loss of dear friends, and a long-awaited, nail-biting confrontation with the woman who has destroyed everything and everyone she’s ever loved. With Tristan, Issylte’s beloved husband, and their loyal friend, Lancelot, at her side, it’s not the question of if she succeeds, but at what cost.
Whew! Issylte and Tristan’s adventure finally comes to a triumphant end. As always, their chemistry and obvious love and devotion for each other and their friends were up front and center in this historical/fantasy romance. The book is pretty long, about 5700% on my Kindle, but I read it in one setting since I couldn’t put it down. Ms. Walker wrote fascinating, fully developed characters whose flaws, hopes, and dreams further the plot, and she set it in a detailed environment that made it easy for me to visualize the scenes.
The Emerald Fairy and the Dragon Knight is a wonderful conclusion to a trilogy that captures the imagination.
