Jessica N. Watkins

I really enjoyed this book and am looking forward to reading the other ones. I like how the author was able to have many characters and still end the book with you wanting more.

This is not my genre, but I wanted to read something in urban contemporary to see what it is all about. The writing was okay and the dialogue certainly fit with the story line. I thought that the plot was too stereotypical and played out, done a million times before. None of the characters seemed realistic, at least in my world. The love scenes were pretty ridiculous. I will not be reading more in this series as the story just was not that good.

Wow! Jessica Watkins grabbed me in the beginning and held me until the end. This book has it all drama, sex, murder, and suspense. I love how she let's you peek into the mind of each character. This is a quick read that will leave you wanting more, thank goodness there are more. I can't wait to start book 2. On the negative side, there were some spelling errors but those did not disrupt the read.

Could not put it down! More twists and turns, pages turning to see what Simone will do next. Already started 3 then on to 4. Props to Ms. Watkins for giving us a good read.
