Morris B. Wells

This romance is not as well written as most of the era. It stands in a subcategory of "motoring romances." The dialog was not as witty or clear as typical. The three suitors were not as well drawn out as I'd have liked. Predicaments were sometimes stupid rather than comical. Harkaway was much too passive and silent to get a decent idea of his charms. Dorothy's internal state of mind was only partially successfully revealed.
However, she did manage to choose the right man, and his sterling qualities were very nicely drawn out.
