Korte biografie
Jeffrey Wilson has at one time worked as an actor, a firefighter, a paramedic, a jet pilot, a diving instructor, a Naval Officer, and a Vascular and Trauma Surgeon. He also served two tours in Iraq as a combat surgeon with both the Marines and with a Joint Special Operations Task Force.
He has written dozens of short stories, won a few fiction competitions, and currently has a 3 book deal with JournalStone Publishing for his novels. His first novel, THE TRAITEUR’S RING, was published in 2011. His second book, THE DONORS was released in June of 2012. JournalStone will launch Jeff’s third novel, FADE TO BLACK, on June 14th 2013 at the Stoker Weekend/World Horror Convention in New Orleans.
Jeff and his wife, Wendy, are Virginia natives who, with children Emma, Jack, and Connor, call Tampa, Florida home. When not working as a Vascular Surgeon or chasing his three kids, Jeff is hard at work on his next novel.

The Donors is a thrilling, highly entertaining read; but it is not for the faint of heart or the squeamish, that's for sure.

It's a fast paced horror story, that's hard to put down once you start reading. A little boy must face his worst fears, shown to him in vivid night terrors, that are not dreams. Along the way, a doctor and a nurse, are drawn to him, and to each other; and all must face their own demons to join together in a battle of good versus evil; evil being demoniac beasts who prey upon living flesh and feed upon the suffering of their human prey, as their victims are being torn apart and devoured alive, bit by bit. (Like I said: graphic horror, not for the squeamish).

It is well written and the character development is amazing. You'll be grabbing the arm of your chair and sometimes left breathless as they forge into the bowels of hell to rescue each other, and loved ones, from their worst nightmare, "the Lizard men".

Unfortunately, I just couldn't figure this one out. It seemed like the author wanted to write several books from different genres all at the same time, and so they became jumbled together into this. The parts I enjoyed were few and far between, and I gave up about a third of the way through.

The latest in a fast moving series. The long story line is fairly predictable and the periodic story lines interesting and intense. Good stuff, fans of the genre should love it.
