Substance: NASA camp for teens (and one junior-high genius) puts kids in space, due to well-meant but disastrous interference by an underemployed robot. Plot acceptable at a TV level, but predictable. Generates enough situational suspense but resolves it in the deus ex machina style, literally. Glosses over points that were previously of great importance to the plot, and does not allow the NASA controllers to do the obvious. Compare to "Apollo 13" for real suspense and ingenuity.
Style: Uses footage of real space travel. Too much "realistic" teen & adult language.… (meer)
