Sweet story of a little girl who, envious of her big sister, finds something special to do for herself -- learn fandango like her mama. Very sweet in terms of the little girl relating to everyone in her family -- father-child time while he is teaching her to dance; sister interactions when Lola wistfully envies her big sister's hair, friends, abilities; and mother-child interactions in that Lola is emulating her mama. The illustrations and story have a really cool Mexican muralish feel to them.
