The Times One Hundred Greatest Cricketers [1997] door John Woodcock
This book tries to achieve the impossible of course: comparing, for example, William Beldham, Alan Border and George Lohmann is clearly a losing cause. It's also rather anglo-centric: 9 of the top 12 cricketers are English. And there are many more batsmen than bowlers. But it's all fun and Woodcock has I guess done a better job than anyone else could hop to.½
