- Marian York was born and raised in Tyler, Texas (about halfway between Dallas, TX and Shreveport, LA). Her dad is a freelance artist and guitar teacher who spent a lot of time making up stories for her and her two brothers. Her mom has a love for books that she passed down to Marian and truly inspired her to write.
Marian is an avid video game player and she loves anime and manga (comic books as well). She hopes all that has inspired her can be seen and felt in her work.
