Megan McDowell Alejandro Zambra

There are a few stories in this collection that are among Zambra's finest work. "Camilo", "Memories of Personal Computer", and "Family Life" are my favorites here. "Camilo" is one of the finest short stories I've ever read.

Some of the stories in My Documentsfeel more like exercises than stories, and some of these failed to do much more than use up my time. But when he's writing well, Zambra is magical. At this point he is in my category of writers whose work is "must read" simply because his best work is bliss. His voice is unmatched.… (meer)
