Sorry, Arnie.
Unless you're an absolute genius at delivering an ulterior message, this book is a failure.
Here's what I mean.
Politicians and other opinion leaders are all too often accused of serving up gristle as meat entrees.
One could suggest that it's ironic this image doctor focuses all to narrowly on the "surface" solutions for improving one's image. Things like voice quality, physical appearance and poise.
Just look at his banal subheads: "Come Prepared," "Wear Quality Clothing," etc.
Unless, of course, Zenker's tome is one major practical joke that strives to drive home the point that an author can sell "gristle" to a major publisher, then convince this hawker of books to market it as "meat."… (meer)
