Dachshunds, Wiener dogs, Doxies or whatever you call them care cute and lovable. Ziselman uses the lives of these dogs as a mirror to gain insight into his life. This is biographical work that hopes to become more. While it is no Johnathan Livingston Seagull it is worth reading just for the dog stories.

Many of the stories that Matt Ziselman tells of Baxter, Molly and Maya are perfect examples of the activities of my own beautiful, loving doxie. I laughed and cried at their antics and Matt's story of his own struggles. I'm so glad that I bought this book!
