Over mijn bibliotheek: I've read the vast majority of the books I have personally placed on my shelves (others are still on my to do list). I have some random pieces handed over by friends and family, and the occasional cast off that looks interesting. I also spend a decent amount of time picking up interesting titles at second hand stores (the Salvation Army near my house actually has a fair selection and turnover). I read a mix of everything. I have a sizable cookbook collection, so those I typically just page through from time to time for inspiration.
Over mij: I'm female. I majored in English at a small liberal arts college in Iowa. When not working, or repairing something around the house I enjoy cooking, reading, gardening, photography, and compulsive Law and Order watching. Cataloging my books (I have far to go) has made me put a good number back on my to read again shelf, and inspired me to be more vigilant about my existing book organization system.
